I spent over 16 years working inside some of the most recognized names in media — ATTN:, VICE, and Warner Music Group.
Across that time, I watched the same pattern repeat in the industry: growth would accelerate, pressure would rise, and when misalignment surfaced, the first response was to cut people rather than fix the system. Not because people weren't capable, but because the structural problem was never properly diagnosed.
